Lottie Animation Previewer

Render, preview, and export Lottie JSON animations offline — animated GIF, WebM/MP4 video, PNG frames, APNG and WebP sequences — 100% client-side.

100% Sandbox Execution: All canvas rendering, MediaRecorder VP9 video stream encoding, and GIF frame packaging execute entirely inside your local browser memory. No animation files or video streams are transmitted to any remote server.

Lottie Animation Previewer Architectural Overview

The Lottie Animation Previewer is a professional, client-side utility built to perform high-fidelity conversions and data manipulations directly on your device. Powered by next-gen browser technologies like lottie-web HTML5 Canvas renderer, browser-native MediaRecorder VP9 video stream encoder, gif.js GIF WebWorker frame packaging arrays, and HTML5 Canvas Context2D direct pixel-capture APIs, the tool achieves lightning-fast processing speeds without needing a remote cloud backend. Render, preview, debug, and manipulate playback speeds of Lottie JSON animations 100% locally in your browser sandbox.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Lottie Animation Previewer operates by reading your files or text inputs as raw byte buffers inside browser runtime scope. Rather than uploading payloads to a remote host, the application parses the structure in client-side memory. Specifically, it binds lottie-web to an HTML5 Canvas render target (forced canvas mode) instead of SVG vector streams, enabling direct pixel-level capture for all export pipelines: the MediaRecorder API hooks into canvas.captureStream(fps) for serverless WebM/MP4 video recording, gif.js WebWorker threads handle GIF frame packaging arrays for animated GIF compilation, and canvas.toBlob() snapshots individual frames as PNG, APNG pack, or WebP sequence ZIP archives — all with zero server processing overhead. This setup guarantees instant feedback, high-performance execution, and robust support for large file queues.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Upload a .json Lottie file or paste the raw JSON payload into the editor panel.
  2. Control playback speed (0.5x–2x), toggle pause/play, and inspect canvas render output on configurable backgrounds.
  3. Click "Export Current Frame (PNG)" to download the active canvas timeline frame as a lossless PNG.
  4. Click "Export APNG Pack" or "Save WebP Pack" to download animated frame sequence ZIP archives.
  5. Click "Export as Animated GIF" — gif.js WebWorker frame packaging arrays capture and encode every frame into a looping .gif binary client-side.
  6. Click "Record as MP4 / WebM Video" — MediaRecorder APIs capture the live VP9 video stream directly from the canvas and download a .webm or .mp4 file.

DATA SECURITY MECHANICS

Data security and compliance are paramount when handling corporate assets, proprietary databases, and private session credentials. Paste operations or uploads on standard cloud-based utilities present severe privacy risks because your data is transmitted over public networks and stored on external databases. The Lottie Animation Previewer eliminates these risks by enforcing a strict client-side sandbox execution policy aligned with design property copyright compliance, digital asset sovereignty, and corporate motion graphics confidentiality — all MediaRecorder VP9 video stream data and GIF WebWorker frame packaging arrays process locally. Crucially, all canvas rendering, MediaRecorder VP9 video stream encoding, gif.js GIF frame packaging, APNG rendering, and WebP frame sequencing execute inside the local browser sandbox with zero server processing overhead and zero network transmission of animation assets, ensuring zero leakages, zero tracking cookies, and 100% data sovereignty.
